On April 29, Pastor George DeVol was unanimously elected to be the new Pastor of First Baptist Church, which has been in existence for over 300 years, and is located at 101 South Main St. in Cape May Court House.
Pastor George is a graduate of Cairn University, Langhorne, Pa., formerly known as Philadelphia Biblical University, where he earned a Master of Science in Bible with a minor in Youth Ministries. He is passionate about teaching the word of God and teaching it to all who are interested in learning about Jesus Christ. He is devoted to bringing the Good News to all the people in Cape May County, surrounding areas and beyond to the world.
Pastor George enjoys hiking with his family and friends and is an avid sports fan.
