Beth Judah Congregation Will ‘Light the Night’

CAPE MAY – The public is invited to participate with Rabbi Ron Isaacs and the Beth Judah community for a Hanukkah celebration Dec. 8 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in front of City Centre, 421 Washington Street Mall, Cape May.
According to a release, the festive occasion will include the lighting of the Hanukkah, fellowship, song and traditional holiday snacks, including latkes (potato pancakes), and sufganiyot, (jelly doughnuts, cooked in oil, usually filled with strawberry jam).  
The event is free and open to all.
In case of inclement weather, the event will be canceled.

Located at the corner of Spencer and Pacific avenues in Wildwood, Beth Judah is Cape May County’s only active synagogue.  The congregation celebrated its centennial in 2014.
