Anderson Acknowledged for Dedication to Real Estate Industry
SWAINTON – Cape May County Association of REALTORS® is pleased to announce that Carol Anderson of Erma was selected as the association’s 2015 REALTOR® of the Year. Anderson is being recognized for her commitment to humanitarian services and dedication to the REALTOR® organization and the real estate profession.
“This is a prestigious award and those agents who have earned the title of Realtor of the Year for their local boards have surely earned it through their dedication to the association, their business and the industry as a whole. I congratulate them on a job well done,” said 2015 NEW JERSEY REALTORS® president Eugenia “Jean” Bonilla.
The annual REALTOR® of the Year award recognizes one member of the Cape May County Association of REALTORS® (CMCAR®) who demonstrates a commitment to the Realtor Code of Ethics, promotes good real estate practices among fellow real estate licensees and the general public, and dedicates time to perform charitable work in the community. On the local level, Anderson served on several CMCAR® committees, chairing the Community Service Committee in 2006, and fundraising for Cape May County charitable organizations: “Love of Linda,” The United Way and C.A.R.A. (Coalition Against Rape & Abuse). Anderson’s hands on commitment to these charities was immeasurable. Her commitment to the community can only be compared to her commitment to CMCAR® and the NEW JERSEY REALTORS®. Serving on CMCAR®’s Board of Directors from 2007-2015, Anderson was elected President in 2010. At the state level, Anderson chaired and sat on over thirty NEW JERSEY REALTORS® committees including the Board of Directors since 2007. “Carol’s infectious personality and her passion for the industry and for people are the perfect combination in the REALTOR® family,” said Executive Officer of CMCAR® Ann Marie Uhlman.
The local REALTOR® of the Year selected by all local boards/associations of Realtors in New Jersey, including Anderson, will be honored by New Jersey Realtors at an awards ceremony during the Triple Play Realtor Convention & Trade Expo in Atlantic City on Dec. 8. The state Realtor of the Year, selected by a panel of independent judges from the local association winners, will also be honored at the ceremony.
