DEVON, PA – Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach, REALTORS® and The Trident Group are pleased to announce several important leadership positions in the Trident Group of companies effective Jan. 1, 2017. “These changes are designed to ensure that The Trident Group continues to provide the best service to our sales associates and clients,” adds Chairman and CEO Larry Flick IV.
Gerard F. Griesser will be Vice Chairman of BHHS Fox & Roach, REALTORS® and The Trident Group. As vice chairman, Griesser will work with Chairman and CEO Larry Flick to guide the direction of the company. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Fox Roach/Trident–Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach, REALTORS® and the Chief Executive Officer of The Trident Group comprising Trident Mortgage Company, Trident Land Transfer Company and Trident Insurance Agency. His day-to-day responsibilities include establishing the vision and providing the direction for all Trident companies.
Prior to 1985, he spent 14 years in the commercial banking industry in various management positions. Griesser joined Roach Brothers Realtors in 1985, the predecessor company to Fox Roach/Trident, and established The Trident Group of companies as one of the country’s premier one-stop shopping sources connected to a residential real estate company. Over the last 20 years, Griesser has been on the Board of Directors of three publicly traded companies. He was the 2003 chairman of the Real Estate Settlement Providers Council (RESPRO), a national settlement services organization located in Washington, DC.
Larry Flick V will be President of the Trident Group. Flick V is a seasoned mortgage professional with more than 23 years of industry experience. Most recently he has been president of Trident Mortgage Company. Prior to that position he was senior vice president and general sales manager of Trident Mortgage. Flick V has served in a management capacity since 2006. Before moving into the role of president of Trident Mortgage, he was responsible for the company’s revenue-producing area, managing an origination team of approximately 80 employees, comprised of regional managers, mortgage consultants and mortgage consultant assistants. Flick V is an honors graduate of the Tulane University School of Business.
Marie Gayo will be President of Trident Mortgage Company. Gayo has over 25 years of experience in the mortgage and investment banking industry. Gayo joined the company in 2009 as senior vice president of operations. She possesses an extensive leadership background in operations, risk management and administration, with particular focus on strategy and planning, as well as business process improvement.
Gayo began her career working for PNC Bank (formerly Sears Mortgage Corporation) and later with Hanover Capital Partners, Sovereign Bank and Cendant Mortgage. Prior to joining Trident, she was employed at Credit Suisse First Boston as a vice president within the bank’s fixed income division, where she was responsible for the client support desk, fulfillment operations and inside sales. Gayo was promoted to director in 2004 and later worked for the firm’s investment banking operations in an operational risk role. She is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and past member of the American Society for Quality.
Irene Shull will be Senior Vice President of Mortgage Operations. Shull began her mortgage career in 1984 and has over 30 years of mortgage banking experience. The majority of her career has been focused on mortgage banking operations and management, with specific focus on underwriting and credit risk, while holding mortgage banking licenses in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She has held management positions with Weichert Mortgage, Countrywide Mortgage and Precision Mortgage. In addition, Shull also held positions in retail and wholesale sales, with awards earned at both Countrywide Mortgage and Chase Manhattan Bank for individual sales production. Shull joined the company in 1998 as operations manager for Shelter Mortgage, the affiliated mortgage company of Fox & Lazo, prior to the combination Fox & Lazo and Roach Brothers/Trident.
Over the past 17 years, she has held various management positions within the company before assuming her current role as vice president of credit policy and senior credit officer in 2015. In her new role, she will continue to collaborate with Trident sales and operational managers with a focus on operational process and improvements, to positively impact the Trident sales and operational staff, customers and BHHS sales associates.
