TSOSIE, MICHAEL DAVID, 57, of North Cape May, died August 13, 2016 in Twin Lakes, New Mexico. He was born June 4, 1959 in Fort Defiance, Arizona into the To’aheedlinii (Water Flows Together People Clan) for the Kinlichii’nii (Red House People Clan.) He was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Sadie Tsosie, brothers Ronald Tsosie and Joe Wallace Tsosie, Jr., sisters Ethel Tsosie and Marie Dale, son Alarik David Tsosie, and best friends George Koelle and Walter “Chip” Iwasevic.He is survived by his loving children Brian, Courtney (husband Leo Iwasevic), Skylar, and devoted wife of 33 years, Robin, as well as brothers Calvin, Alfred, Henry, and sisters Lorena Edaakie, Clara Nelson, Jenny Tsosie, and many nieces and nephews.He had lived in North Cape May for the past 31 years. He was the owner of Navajo Construction Company for 28 years and enjoyed bringing complicated blueprints to life. He enjoyed traveling with his family, helping out in the kitchen for the Cape May Dance Company, attending the high school football and basketball games, and watching his favorite football team, the Washington Redskins. He will be sadly missed. Deceased’s funeral arrangements: A memorial service is scheduled for 6:00 PM Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Cape May National Golf Course.
