STUART, MARION R.

STUART, MARION R., of Coopersburg, Pa., formerly of Horsham, Pa. and Wildwood Crest, N.J., passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Phoebe Richland Nursing Care. She was the loving wife of Albert D. Stuart for 58 years before his passing in 1997. Born in Warrington, Pa., she was one of nine children and the daughter of Linford and Mary (Ford) Rich. Marion and her late husband raised three children and many foster children. The Stuarts were members of the Horsham Fire Co. for many years as well as the Anchor Yacht Club, Bristol, Pa. Marion was also a charter member of the Southampton Slipper Club, Life member of Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post 6493 Warminster. Marion loved boating and camping with family and friends but most of all, she loved caring for her children, foster children and her ‘Al.’ She was a demonstrator for Dutchmaid Clothing and for Fashion Wagon. She ended her working career in her mid 1970s employed then by her dear daughter-in-law, Susan, at MediScript Transcription Co. as a Gal Friday and courier. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Ambron (Jim) of Coopersburg; her son, Albert D. Stuart II (Susan) of Rio Grande, N.J. and Dr. Wayne Stuart (Mary) of Knoxville, Tenn.; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Marion is also survived by foster children, Ronna Henning, Donna Calderaro, Betty Ann Majors and their children, and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Vasta and the nurses and staff of Phoebe Nursing Care for the loving and compassionate care given to Marion. Relatives and friends were received after 12 p.m. until her funeral service at 1 p.m., Monday, April 11 at The Decker Funeral Home, 216 York Road, Warminster. Interment held in Hillside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 3551 N. Broad St., Philadelphia., PA 19140 in Marion’s memory.
