SOCKRITER, FLORENCE VIVIAN (nee DIMBERIO), 84, of the Erma section of Lower Twp. passed away on Sunday November 27, 2011 at the Kennedy Healthcare Center, Washington Twp., NJ. Florence was born in Philadelphia, PA and had resided in Cape May for 61 yrs. She was the wife of the late Walter Sockie Sockriter who died in 2003. Mrs. Sockriter spent many years in the home raising her family. Although Florence enjoyed many things, she was an avid reader and her favorite book was the Bible. She considered sharing the Bible’s message with others as an important part of her life and took great joy in zealously doing so for over 60 years as part of her congregation’s activities as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She is survived by her Son & daughter in-law; Timothy & Ann Marie Sockriter Daughter & son in-law; Francine & John Appleton 3 Grandchildren; Kelli, Shawn and Kristen 1 Great-grandson; Zachary Relatives & friends will be received on Saturday, December 17th from 1:30 pm to 2 pm at the Cape May Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, 827 Seashore Rd., Erma, NJ where her memorial service will follow at 2 pm .
