REPICI, FRANCES M.

REPICI, FRANCES M. (nee LaMazza), age 100, of N Cape May passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. Before moving to North Cape May in 1994, Fran was a lifelong resident of South Philadelphia (St. Gabriels Parish). To support her daughters, Fran worked many years as a seamstress at Joseph H Cohen & Sons mens clothing manufacturer. She had an eye for fashion and could create beautiful outfits without a paper pattern. Fran had many talents, but the most important were those associated with being an exemplary mother and grandmother. She led by example, and was a woman of faith, strength, independence, morality, and determination to do what was right and best for her family. Fran is predeceased by her brothers Anthony and Santo LaMazza; her sister Marie (LaMazza) Perry; and her husband Michael Repici. She is survived by her daughters and their husbands: Maria and Thomas Quigg of N Cape May, NJ; and Rita and Russell Miller of Nederland, TX; her grandchildren Rusty Miller of Germany; Tammy (Wayne) Whitzell of Elk Grove, CA; Bill Miller of Rancho Cordova, CA; as well as her great granddaughter Luciana Whitzell. Also surviving is her sister Rose Tucci and several nieces and nephews. During the last years of her life, the aging process took its toll on her mind and body; but Fran was blessed with many earthly angels, like Shona and Denise, whose loving care contributed significantly to her quality and quantity of life. Frans family is especially indebted to the remarkable team of women at Holy Redeemer Hospice (especially RN/Case Manager Nancy B and Nurses Aide Theresa P) whose skills, compassion, and tireless efforts kept Fran going well beyond expectations; while allowing her to live her final years in dignity within the safety and comfort of her own home. A viewing for Fran will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2013 from 8:30 to 10:30 AM at Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204. A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 11:00 AM at the Parish of St John Neumann, St John of God RC Church, 680 Townbank Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204. Interment immediately following Mass at St. Marys Cemetery, 1056 Seashore Rd, Cold Spring, NJ 08204. In lieu of flowers, please consider contributions in Frans memory to Holy Redeemer Hospice, 1801 Route 9 North, Swainton, NJ 08210. To share condolences, please visit www.evoyfuneralhome.com.
