NAGLE, MILDRED ELIZABETH HUNT

NAGLE, MILDRED ELIZABETH HUNT (Millie/Mom-Mom), 98, of Cape May Court House, NJ, passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2016. Mildred Elizabeth Hunt was born to Harry and Harriet Hunt in Audubon, NJ in 1918. She graduated from Audubon High School in 1935 where she was active in track and cheerleading and went on to complete Nursing training at Cooper Hospital in Camden, NJ in 1939. She married John Ralph Nagle, Jr. (Jack) on Feb 26, 1940 and they had 3 children- Sandy, Jack and Betty, whom they raised in Springfield, PA. Millie and Jack loved the outdoors, especially boating, and were active members of the Avalon Yacht Club in the 1960s. Millie loved sailing her sunfish sailboat around the island during summers in Avalon, NJ. They owned several boats throughout the years and made a family tradition of decorating them in creative themes for Avalon’s annual boat parades. They also enjoyed taking their cabin cruiser, Cra-Sea-Cru, on trips up and down the east coast. In her later years, Millie lived an active social life in Stuart, FL. She loved the sunshine and lived in her swimsuits. She owned a collection of swimwear in every color of the rainbow and proudly wore them to sunbathe and swim laps at her neighborhood pool, or to attend water aerobics classes with her friends. Millie also enjoyed traveling, taking cruises to Hawaii and Alaska and making frequent trips to Disneyworld. Affectionately known as Mom-Mom to her 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, Millie has always been strong-willed, independent and sharp minded (she was tough to beat at Jeopardy) and has been an inspiration for good health and longevity to us all. Millie is preceded in death by her husband Jack Nagle, sister Margaret Deusche, and daughter Sandra Lee Nagle. She is survived and missed dearly by her brother Dr. Russell Howell Hunt of Audubon, NJ, son John Ralph Nagle III of South Hampton, NY, daughter Betty Lou Kosloski, of Swainton, NJ, grandson Stephen Kosloski (wife Natalie), granddaughter Sandra O’Hara (husband Colin), granddaughter Colleen Shebatka (husband Eric) and grandson Alexander Grace Kosloski. Her 5 great-grandchildren are Thomas Kosloski (10), Cooper O’Hara (2), Murphy O’Hara (3 months), Van Shebatka (3), and Sydney Shebatka (1 1/2). Mom-Mom: You were one of a kind- We will always love you and will miss your youthful energy. Funeral services will be private. Condolences at www.radzieta.com
