METZGER, JOHN H., 102, departed

METZGER, JOHN H., 102, departed this life and returned home to the Creator 6 days before his 103rd birthday. Born in Philadelphia. He was a resident of the Wildwoods since 1945 and was a resident at Victoria Commons since 2004. John touched many people in Cape May County with his many talents, especially being the first Massage Therapist in the area and his music, he was in many Philadelphia and local string bands. He had a very positive healty atitude and a wonderful sense of humor. John is predeceased by his wife, Anna Mae Metzger and son, Edward F. Metzger. He is suvived by his son, John Metzger ( Linda ) of North Wildwood, daughter, Delores Mankowski ( Bob ) of Cape May Court House, and daughter in law, MaryAnn Metzger of Lancaster, Pa. 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Friends and family are invited to attend John’s life celebration at Victoria Commons on Saturday, February 16th at 1 PM.
