LABOV, DENISE CAROLE, 63, of Dennisville, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at her home. Born in Oceanside, Long Island, NY, she moved here 39 years ago after living in Sea Isle City, Liberty, NY, and East Islip, NY. She retired as principal of Maud Abrams School in Lower Township.Denise was an active member of Messiah Lutheran Church – singing in the choir and serving on many committees and councils. She was also a member of the NJ Principals and Supervisors Association and Delta Kappa Gamma, a professional international honor society of key women educators. She enjoyed cooking and baking for the family. She also loved to sing and play the violin and piano. She was very athletic. Her greatest joy came from the time spent with her grandchildren.Denise is survived by her husband of 39 years, Harry G. LaBov; her sons, Corey (Nicole) LaBov and Chet (Lauren) LaBov; her father, Kenneth Wynn; her brothers, Tom Wynn and Jay Wynn (Kathryn); her three grandchildren, Corey James, Alexis Denise, and Kaylyn; and her extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Carole Frisch Wynn.Memorial service will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church at a later date.
