DE RITIS, ANTHONY T. SR., 72, of North Wildwood, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer at his home with family on February 5th, 2013. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph Edward Sr. and Jennie Bridget (Del Vecchio) De Ritis and his sister Jean B. (De Ritis) Mengel. He is survived by his beloved wife Barbara (Lisa) De Ritis, his three loving children, Anthony T. De Ritis Jr., Steven J. De Ritis and his wife Donna M. (Richart), and Dean F. De Ritis; his five grandchildren, Joseph Anthony, Vincent Dominick, Nicholas David, Justina Nicole, and Danielle Marie; as well as his brother Joseph Edward and his wife Donna Marie (Fuzzino) De Ritis. Anthony was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. He was a tailor by trade, a singer and a realtor. He loved his family with a great deal of passion, and enjoyed sharing his experiences and wisdom with the younger members over home cooked Italian meals. Anthony was generous with his time, spending every moment he could supporting his grandchildren, nieces, and nephews at drama and sporting events. He was a most loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend. The world lost an amazing man. Services will be held on Monday, February 18, 2013. 10:00 am viewing, 11:00 am Mass, at the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, 7110 Seaview Ave. Wildwood Crest, NJ. As per Mr. DeRitis request, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to help with Anthony’s medical expenses.
