DAVID, DINA We are so very saddened to announce that our Dina David passed peacefully on April 3, 2016, after a courageous battle. Dina is predeceased by her parents, Gertrude (Dolly) and Harry Shaffran, of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, where Dina grew up. She leaves her dear sister Rona Shaffran and brother-in-law Brian Tannenbaum, of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, her loved partner Mike O’Donnell, of Villas, New Jersey, and her friends and co-workers. Dina chose Villas, New Jersey as her home because she loved the ocean, finding great solace in her walks along the nearby Bay. A consummate professional in her work, Dina was devoted to her elderly and hospice patients, who adored her. We are deeply grateful to Mike O’Donnell for his love and support. And, for their brilliant and compassionate care of Dina, we are indebted to Dr. Kaleem Ahmad and his team at Shore Medical at Somers Point and to Dr. Brendan Weiss and his teams, both inpatient and outpatient, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia. Dina’s soul, her essence, radiates vitality. Those qualities and Dina’s memory will live forever in our hearts. Donations in memory of Dina can be made to the charity of your choice. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 1:30 PM at Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ followed by interment at Seaside Cemetery, Palermo, NJ.
