Donald Basmajian Sr., age 84 of Villas passed away peacefully on Saturday February 2, 2019 at the North Cape Center. Don was born in Philadelphia and resided there most of his life before moving to Cape May Co. 20 years ago. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. Don worked for 24 years at A&P Supermarkets in numerous locations in Philadelphia and South Jersey becoming a store manager. In his later years he worked with his brothers George and Dennis Basmajian in various businesses. Don loved spending time with family and helping people. He enjoyed playing cards, singing and going to the gym. But most of all Don loved life. He is survived by his children Donald (Lisa Murphy) Basmajian, Annmarie (Michael Spagnolo) Basmajian, Mallory (Dave) Snedeker and Kathy (Chris) Bloch; his siblings George and Dennis Basmajian, Delores Houston, Janet O’Brien and Kc Cieri. BOWERSOCK, ROBERT After a battle with Alzheimer's, on July 22, 2025, Robert Bowersock “Big Bad Bob” passed away peacefully at home on the bay, surrounded by his loving family and graced with a beautiful sunset to end his final Chapter of Life. Bob was born on January 20, 1940.
