OCEAN CITY – The Starting Time for Night In Venice has been changed to 7:30 p.m. on July 16 (One Hour Later)
Which leads to these changes…
1. The free Shuttle and Parking Service from the Airport and 25th and Bay and the Soccer Field off Bay and Tennessee Ave. will start at 5 p.m. (and continue until midnight.) The Shuttle will take spectators to free grandstand viewing of the Boat Parade at street ends and also to the Bayside Center, 525 Bay Avenue.
2. The Gates at the Bayside Center will open at 5 p.m. There will be grandstand seating, entertainment by the Good Tymes Band starting at 5:45 p.m., children’s activities including crafts and games and face painting. Visitors may bring their own picnic baskets and chairs. No Alcohol. Grandstands will be set up by the Bay for viewing the Parade. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for children available at City Hall Annex, 901 Asbury Ave. Mon-Fri. from 9a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 609-525-9300 or at the Music Pier Box Office, Boardwalk and Moorlyn Terrace open 7 days a week, 609-525-9248.
3. Judging of Bay front Homes will be 6-7p.m.

All boat and home entrants will be given a decorative Night In Venice mug. There will be cash prizes for all who enter boats plus trophies for winners and best decorated homes. Boat participants will be given $50 cash cards to enhance decorations providing they finish the Parade. Plus boat captains will be given a special gift and a free photo of their boat in the Parade.
