COURT HOUSE — CURE (Christians United for Recovery) is a ministry of The Lighthouse Church dedicated to offering help, healing, and hope to people struggling with addiction as well as those who love them. The Cape May County Department of Human Services and CURE are sponsoring free overdose response trainings provided by Urban Treatment Associates at 6:30 p.m. on April 21, May 26, and June 23 at The Lighthouse Church. Participants will receive hands-on training, a free Naloxone kit, and information about substance abuse treatment. Sessions are funded through a grant from the New Jersey Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services and are limited to 20 participants (rolling registration will occur).

CURE also offers Recovery and Support Groups at The Lighthouse Church. The Grief Support group meets at 6:30 ! pm on Tuesdays, and various other recovery and support groups (including but not limited to 12-steps, co-dependency, divorce recovery, support for loved ones, and student support) meet at 7 p.m. on Thursdays. Recovery and support group participants are invited to partake in a light meal and fellowship at 6 pm prior to attending the meetings on Thursdays.
