COURT HOUSE – Mount Olive Baptist Church, 46 E. Atlantic Ave., Court House will hold its Black History Month presentation Feb. 29 at 2 p.m.
The theme of this year’s event will be “Examining the past, present and the future.”
According to a release, this year’s network collaborators will include:
Theodore Bryan, retired Middle Township High School history teacher.
Clayton Palmer, retired Army lieutenant and Cape May-Lewes Ferry police officer.
Larry Hogan, Korean War veteran, and retired Army Sgt. 1st Class who will give reflections on Pork Chop Hill during that conflict.
Vivian Wright Lockett, founder, and president of West Cape May African American Historical Society.
Meredith Campbell, retired chief executive officer and board member of the first black bank in Texas.
Will Cunningham, Democratic candidate for Congress.
Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) has been invited and may attend.
