Local Vigil Held for Charlottesville

RIO GRANDE – In light of the events in Charlottesville, Va., Indivisible Cape May County hosted a peaceful rally Aug. 13 in Rio Grande. Over 50 people were in attendance, some carrying signs stating “Hate Has No Home Here.”
The local chapter of Indivisible promotes civic and community engagement through grassroots activism that centers on progressive ideals, inclusivity and social justice. 
The group hosts monthly meetings in North Wildwood. The next meeting is scheduled for Sept. 14 at 6:30 p.m.
