COURT HOUSE – The Kitchen Phanatics 4-H Club recently won a $500 Mission Mini Grant from the Cape May County 4-H Program Advisory Council.
Shown left to right are Club Leaders Adele Marks and Gayle Crookston, Sadie DeGennaro, 4-H Program Advisory Council Chair Alicia Arnold, Kevin Rescigno and Kayla Cranmer. Not pictured are club members Kylie Mastriana, Gabrielle Eppright and Madison Glenz.
The club has used the award to purchase new cooking equipment for club activities. Alicia Arnold, chair of the 4-H Program Advisory Council, states “we are so pleased to be able to help our 4-H clubs achieve their educational goals by awarding these grants, thanks to the money we earn each summer in our refreshment booth at the 4-H fair. I encourage everyone to come to this summer’s fair on July 18, 19 and 20 and buy food from the booth so that we can continue to help our clubs grow!” The grant was one of three awarded to 4-H clubs this winter. Other winners included the Healing Hooves and the Cyber Explorers 4-H Clubs.
