Keep Progress Rolling Team – Letter #2

By Sponsored

After last night’s candidate forum, it’s now clearer than ever that Jeanne Kilian and Ernie Troiano, Jr. are exactly the leaders that Wildwood needs in order to continue successfully moving the city’s progress forward.
The other candidates in this election have painted Wildwood as a dirty run- down shore town, with no clear plan. The TRUTH is that under Ernie Troiano’s leadership, Wildwood does have a clear plan and has had successful progress over the last four years.
Infrastructure:  Wildwood has new streets; the city has new and safer parks! The new Fox Park play area and sports center has brought smiles to many of our children’s faces.
Flooding: Bulkheads have been replaced, the Rio Grande corridor pump station is in place to combat flooding, and a second pump station is planned to combat flooding on Pacific Avenue.  The City’s Flood Plain Office worked hard the past few years to raise our flood rating to a level five, which means that ALL RESIDENTS holding a flood insurance policy in our city receive a 25% discount on their insurance! If you are unsure if you received this benefit, call your flood insurance company. You are entitled to it!
Public Safety: Crime is down 35% in the last eight years. Residents can safely walk our streets, including Pacific Avenue now! Let’s not turn back the clock to times when the police and fire departments were stripped in headcount, causing the crime rate and drug issues to rise on our streets. Our fire department also continues to work hard to bring over $800,000 of revenue to our city through inspections and EMS services in our town, and shared services with neighboring towns.
Redevelopment: The city has conducted 700 property transfer inspections in the last two years! People ARE BUYING and REDEVELOPING HOMES AND BUSINESSES in our great city! Taxes will stabilize through the development of a new community of homes and businesses in the back-bay area. Host hotels and redevelopment of the city’s empty beach front lots are also necessary to meeting our stabilization goals.
The Keep Progress Rolling Team is the ONLY TEAM running on the POSITIVE FACTS! They are the team of PROGRESS in WILDWOOD! As the longest standing mayor, ERNIE TROIANO, Jr. has the EXPERIENCE behind him to keep things moving forward!
JEANNE KILIAN has the NEW ENERGY AND ENTHUSIASM our city NEEDS! Keep the Progress Rolling in the City of Wildwood.
VOTE for JEANNE KILIAN and ERNIE TROIANO, Jr, on Nov. 5, COLUMN 2
Paid for by Committee to Elect Jeanne Kilian, Re-Elect Ernest Troiano, Jr., 3413 Pacific Ave., Wildwood, NJ 08260.
