John Walter Band Announces 2nd Annual ‘Play It Again’ Program Launch

By Sponsored

The John Walter Cape Community Band (a 501(c)3 corp.), the Community Concert Band of Cape May County, has designated June 2017 as the launch month for its second annual “Play It Again” program. A huge success in 2016, under the unique “Play It Again” program, John Walter Band members collect gently used musical instruments, restore and refurbish these where feasible, and reintroduce them back into local school music education departments. Musical instruments are offered to schools at no charge and are theirs to utilize as needed.
So… if you have an old trumpet, trombone or other brass instrument, or perhaps a clarinet or saxophone, or maybe an unused drum-set or keyboard laying around, and would like to put it to good use and help music education in our schools, contact the John Walter Band at (609) 846 1209. We can arrange pick-up and/or drop-off. Plus, your donation to the “Play It Again” program may be tax deductible.
