“Resistance at Tule Lake,” a documentary directed by Japanese American filmmaker Konrad Aderer, is having its national broadcast premiere May 6 at 7 p.m. EST on the WORLD channel as part of May’s Asian Pacific American Heritage Month programming.
The Herald carried a story by Karen Knight about Japanese Americans Eddie Kobayashi and his family, who spent time interred at Tule Lake Segregation Center in northern California during World War II. Kobayashi’s father’s story was told as part of the documentary.
