Just a few decades ago, peregrine falcons disappeared east of the Mississippi River — yet today we can celebrate 28 active falcon nests in New Jersey. For the world’s fastest animal to again thrive in New Jersey speaks both to the peregrine falcon’s inspiring resiliency and to the hard work and visionary leadership of those who worked for their successful comeback.  The Peregrine falcon – the Fastest Animal on Earth, gives the public a glimpse into the life of the peregrine falcon, the adaptations that make him unique and how he overcame adversity in the Garden State.
Conserve Wildlife Foundation of New Jersey (CWF) is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to the protection and preservation of New Jersey’s endangered and threatened wildlife and the habitats they depend on. We carry out our mission by researching and managing rare animal species, restoring habitat, educating New Jersey’s residents, and engaging volunteers in our conservation projects. Since the early 1990’s, CWF scientists and educators have helped conserve and protect a variety of at-risk species of wildlife in New Jersey, the most densely populated state in the nation.

Shell we tangle? Absolutely! Zentangle is an easy to learn meditative art form that encourages us to breathe and enjoy peaceful relaxation. If you can draw the following: t, C, S and O, you can Tangle!
Patti started her Zentangle journey in September of 2016. She took one class at the local adult night school upon the suggestion of her daughter who saw that she was stressed and needed to relax. After taking one class, she immediately knew that this was for her. Full of stress in her daily life, she found that giving herself this creative outlet was so beneficial to her and was hooked.
In April 2017, she attended a three day Ceritified Zentangle Seminar with the founders of this amazing art form, Maria Thomas and Rick Roberts, at the Biltmore Hotel in Providence, Rhode Island and became a Certified Zentangle Teacher (“CZT”). Patti is now starting her journey as a CZT and looks forward to sharing this wonderful simple art form with YOU!
Patti relocated to North Cape May this year after residing in the Philadelphia area her entire life.  Spending all of her summers at the “shore” as a child, she realized that this area was her happy place and she needed to live here full time. Patti’s professional career was a medical and real estate paralegal but she had always wanted to teach art. Patti took art classes in high school and has been exploring all forms of art ever since. She enjoys crocheting, painting, jewelry making, and drawing as well as volunteering and helping others.
