While many state troopers attended, officers from many local departments including Lower Township Police Chief Edward Donohue attended, with officers from New York City, Los Angeles and state department of corrections among many others.
The ceremony ended with the symbolic releasing of a dove that symbolized the eternal Spirit on a final journey to the heavens.
