HIGBEE’S BEACH — Lower Township police and firefighters were searching the Higbee’s Beach area Tuesday afternoon for a missing person.
A county helicopter was pressed into service for the search.
Searchers were using a grid-search technique, and the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office mobile incident command van was summoned to the scene about 5:15 p.m. to the Delaware Bay area.
