Personal Celebrations of the Sea

AVALON — Some call them the “golden days.” Others refer to these as the “last days of summer.” Regardless of what they may be termed, these are the days that make living in Cape May County something special, a time to make the sea one’s own.
The front image of the surfer is on Avalon’s 30th Street beach on Sept. 15.
Just north of there, the surf angler takes advantage of near perfect conditions to try his luck for that big one that may be just on the other side of those breakers.
