County Employees Gather Food for Needy

CREST HAVEN — Cape May County employees collected food and other items for county residents in need during the holiday season.
According to a release, “In the true spirit of the season, county employees collected items that were donated to Catholic Social Services located in Rio Grande, New Jersey. This location was chosen for its proximity to the Social Services Building located in Rio Grande.”
“The food will be given to anyone in need. Additionally, other agencies such as DYFS and Cape Counseling send residents to us for assistance and or food,” Cheryl King, director of Catholic Social Services stated.
