Cape May’s VFW Post Awards $6,000 in College Scholarships

CAPE MAY — Veterans of Foreign Wars Peterson-Little Post 386 awarded college scholarships totaling $6,000 to high school seniors living in Cape May, Cape May Point, and Lower Township.
This year’s winners are:
• James E. Banks of Cape May County Technical High School.
• Shannah M. Rose of Lower Cape May Regional.
• Kayln T. Magee of Lower Cape May Regional.
• Haley M. Matsinger of Lower Cape May Regional.
Funds for those scholarships are derived primarily from the VFW’s annual clambake and $1,000 from the Home Association’s shuffleboard league.
