Jacqueline Davis of Woodbine, recently achieved academic excellence at Hartwick College and was named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2014 semester.
Inclusion on the Hartwick Dean’s List is an indication of excellent academic work, including the completion of a full course load with at least a 3.5 grade point average based on a 4.0 scale.

Students named to the Dean’s List at the University of New Hampshire are students who have earned recognition through their superior scholastic performance. Highest honors are awarded to students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.85 or better out of a possible 4.0. Students with a 3.65 to 3.84 average are awarded high honors and students whose grade point average is 3.5 through 3.64 are awarded honors.

Wildwood Crest resident Peter Paul Yecco has been named to the dean’s list at James Madison University for the spring 2014 semester. Yecco is a Sophomore whose major is Anthropology – BS.
Students who earn dean’s list honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of between 3.5 and 3.899.

Dean Howey of Ocean City, is one of the 17 students to perform a spring recital at Lebanon Valley College. Howey, a graduate of Ocean City High School, is pursuing a bachelor of science in music education.
Howey will present a recital on March 17 at 7:30 p.m. in Lutz Hall.

The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey has released its Fall 2014 Dean’s List. Students earning 12 or more credits in a given term are considered for the Dean’s List using the criteria for full-time students. Students earning between eight and 11 credits are eligible for the Dean’s List using the criteria for part-time students.

Joshua Handshaw of Ocean City, has been named to Millersville University of Pennsylvania’s Dean’s List for the fall 2014 semester. The 1,465 students named to Millersville University’s Fall 2014 Dean’s List earned a semester grade-point-average of 3.50 or higher and attempted at least 12 credits of course work.

The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce that more than 4,700 students qualified for the Fall 2014 Dean’s List.
Students who have completed 12 or more credits during a semester for letter grades with at least a 3.30 quality point average qualify for the Dean’s List. Part-time students qualify with the accumulation of 12 credits with a 3.30 quality point average.

Kylie deGrouchy of Stone Harbor, has been named to the dean’s list at Bucknell University for the fall semester of the 2014-15 academic year. Dean’s list students have achieved a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0. Kylie is the daughter of Patrick and Dawn deGrouchy.

Jocelyn M. Stephens has been named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2014 semester at Morehead State University. Stephens is from Ocean View. To be eligible for Dean’s List, a student must carry a semester GPA of 3.5 or better and take a minimum of 12 letter-graded hours (four courses).

Joann F. McLaughlin of Cape May, has been named to the Fall 2014 Dean’s List at Kutztown University. To be eligible for Dean’s List, an undergraduate student must be registered for at least 12 credits and have a minimum grade point average of 3.60.

Wesley College student, Fred Sottnick, a political science major from Wildwood, presented a poster at the Wesley Society Gala Jan. 10.
The Gala is a special event that serves to recognize Wesley College’s most generous donors while also highlighting the accomplishments of some extraordinary students who benefit from the donations. The 13 selected students were invited to share their campus activities, academic accomplishments, and future plans outlined on their posters with the guests.
Sottnick is a resident assistant on campus as well as president of two organizations, Alpha Phi Delta Fraternity and Student Government Association. He is a member of Pi Sigma Alpha – the National Political Science Honor Society.

Over 1400 students were named to the Dean’s List at York College of Pennsylvania, including Austin Parker of Cape May, a junior Criminal Justice major, and Victoria Sittineri of Court House, a first-year Sport Management major .
