WILDWOOD CREST – Enjoy all the top hits of the Eagles and many of the band members’ various solo works this weekend at Centennial Park.
Desert Highway, a critically acclaimed Eagles tribute band, is set to perform Aug. 5, at 7:30 p.m. as part of the Wildwood Crest Summer Music Series.
Desert Highway, which regularly performs up and down the East Coast each year, is a group of six experienced, talented professional musicians dedicated to delivering a non-stop journey through the numerous radio hits, top 10 singles and other popular songs from the Eagles, as well as the many of the solo hits by Eagles band members Don Henley, Joe Walsh and others.
Saturday’s event is a free all-ages show. Attendees should bring a blanket or a chair.
CentennialPark is located at Fern Road and Ocean Avenue.
The Wildwood Crest Summer Music Series is hosted by the Wildwood Crest Recreation and Tourism Department and supported by the Wildwood Crest Tourism Development Commission and continues each Wednesday through Aug. 30 and each Saturday through Sept. 16.
Other upcoming entertainment includes classic rock with Fuse Box Aug. 9; pop, rock and dance hits with an Irish twist with Jamison Celtic Rock Aug 12; and all the hits of Billy Joel with Street Life Serenade Aug. 16.
