‘Don’t Call Me Francis’ to Appear at Crest’s Centennial Park July 23

WILDWOOD CREST — One of the most popular and most requested party bands in the Delaware Valley is set to make an appearance at Centennial Park for the third straight summer.
Don’t Call Me Francis, long considered one of the top party bands in the region, returns to Wildwood Crest on Sat., July 23 at 7:30 p.m.
DCMF was voted the best band in South Jersey and the Delaware Valley in the Readers’ Choice Awards by the Camden Courier-Post newspaper for 12 consecutive years.
Don’t Call Me Francis brings a unique style to the stage, performing non-stop high-energy sets filled with the best party and dance music from the 1960s through today. The band regularly performs at nightclubs, corporate events, summer music series and more each year, and makes regular appearances at venues across the Jersey Shore every summer.
Saturday’s event is a free all-ages show. Attendees should bring a blanket or a chair.
Centennial Park is located at Fern Road and Ocean Avenue.
The Wildwood Crest Summer Music Series, hosted by the Wildwood Crest Recreation and Tourism Department and supported by the Wildwood Crest Tourism Development Commission, consists of 21 live music shows every Wed. and Sat. at Centennial Park through Sept. 3.
Other upcoming entertainment includes pop, rock and dance hits with Up Next on Wed., July 27; a Rolling Stones tribute by the Glimmer Twins on Sat., July 30; and classic and progressive rock with Fuse Box Wed., Aug. 3.
