WILDWOOD – John M. Di Donato, raised in Wildwood and a graduate of Wildwood High School, was recently promoted to colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve with over 20 years of service.
Di Donato holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal law and justice from Rowan University (1996), a master’s of arts degree in education from Central Michigan University (2009) and a master’s of science degree in national security strategy from National War College in Washington, D.C. He was commissioned from the University of Pennsylvania Army ROTC Program in 1996.
Di Donato was deployed twice in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom to Iraq and the Middle East. He currently works for 2nd Brigade, U.S. Army Cadet Command at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in Wrightstown.
