COURT HOUSE – Families are invited to join the elves and staff at the Cape May County Park and Zoo for their annual “Santa’s Family Workshop” Dec. 10 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. This is a free event and kids of all ages are encouraged to visit the Park and Zoo and participate in holiday activities.
Freeholder E. Marie Hayes, liaison at the Park and Zoo, confirmed that Santa, Mrs. Santa and his elves will be visiting the Zoo Dec. 12, and will be available for photos. She encourages families to bring their cameras to capture the memories of Santa’s Workshop at the Park and Zoo.
“I also want to remind visitors about the “Holiday Break Zoo Camp”, scheduled during the winter school break. “The Holiday Break Zoo Camp” is targeted to children from ages 5-9, and will focus on educating and entertaining children about animals that live in colder climates. The zoo camp will run from December 27-30, 2016. This is a perfect opportunity to for children to learn more about the animals at the Cape May County Park and Zoo, Hayes reported.
