County Library Announces Children’s Events for June

County Library Hosts Art @ the Library in Wildwood Crest!
The Cape May County Library invites children, ages 6-10 to Art @ the Library presented by the Cape May Center for Community Arts. The program will take place at the Wildwood Crest Branch Library on Mon., June 4 from 3:30-4:30 p.m. The Wildwood Crest Branch Library is located at 6300 Atlantic Avenue in Wildwood Crest.
Children ages six through ten are invited to enjoy Art @ the Library. Activities combine literature and art where children read a book and create a work of art using a variety of media and styles. Ages 6-10. Presented by the Community Center for the Arts. Call 609-884-7525 for more information.

County Library Hosts Little Rockers Storytime
The Cape May County Library invites children, birth to 2 years old, and their caregivers to Little Rockers storytime held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursdays, June 7, 14, 21 and 28. The program will take place at the Wildwood Crest Branch of the Library, located at 6300 Atlantic Avenue in Wildwood Crest.
Come sing, dance, and read stories with us at the library this summer! Baby & Toddler Storytime is great for developing your child’s language and social skills. Be sure to dress for mess! Some sessions may include optional arts & craft projects at the end.

County Library Hosts Kitchen Wizards
The Cape May County Library invites kids, ages 5-12, to Kitchen Wizards! The program will take place twice on Sat., June 9 and kids can register for one of the two sessions. The first session will take place at 10:30 a.m. and the second session will take place at 12:00 p.m. The programs will be held at the Main Branch of the Library, located at 30 W. Mechanic Street in Cape May Court House.
Kitchen Wizards helps kids discover the magic of cooking, one bite at a time, through culinary enrichment programs. Plenty of samples to take home and copies of recipes provided. Recipes are not guaranteed to be nut-free.

County Library Hosts Family Movies
The Cape May County Library invites children, ages 6-12, and their families to attend our Family Movie program. The movies will be shown at the Stone Harbor Branch, 9516 2nd Ave, on Thursdays, June 14 and 28 at 5:30 p.m.
Kids age 6-12 & their families are invited to watch some fun movies on our big screen with surround sound!  Watch the movies, enjoy snacks and drinks, and relax for free at your library! The Cape May County Library invites children, ages 0 to 12 years old, and their caregivers to attend our registration events.
Register for the Cape May County Library’s Children’s Summer Reading Club at our drop-in Registration Celebration! This club is for children ages 0-12. We will have crafts and activities for the children, while you get them registered.

County Library Offers 4-H Cloverbuds Youth Development Program
The Cape May County Library invites children, ages 5-8, to register for a workshop hosted by Cape May County’s 4-H Foundation. The program will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Wed., June 20. It will take place at the Lower Cape Branch library, located at 2600 Bayshore Road in the Villas.
We’ll have hands-on activities to introduce children ages 5-8 to a wide variety of 4-H project experiences. Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend with their children. Pre-registration is required, so please call the Cape May County 4-H Office at 609-465-5115.

County Library Hosts Sciencetellers
The Cape May County Library invites children, ages 4 to 12 years old, and their caregivers to attend our Scienceteller events in June.
Grab your spurs and journey with the Sciencetellers to the Wild West, where a legendary bank-robbing outlaw is back in town, about to strike again!  Audience volunteers will help us with lots of science experiments during this western story! This program is best suited for ages 4-12.
