Tracy Gerstenfield

By Al Campbell

AVALON – Tracy Gerstenfield, daughter of Bill and Barbara Graham of Avalon, biked 65 miles on her Trek road bike July 30 from Philadelphia to Atlantic City as part of the Irish Pub Children’s Foundation 30th anniversary event.
Known as the Tour De Shore, the $1.13 million collected by the riders to participate will benefit families of fallen firefighters, police and first responders.
The tour began at the Irish Pub in Philadelphia and ended in a similarly-named pub in the seaside resort.
Gerstenfield and her friend Tracy McKenna rode along with the others from the Fraternal Order of Police lodge in Philadelphia, a total of over 2,000 bicyclists.
Gerstenfield said, “It was a wonderful experience for everyone.”
