NJ State Police Food Drive to Benefit Victims, Survivors of Domestic Violence

Oct. is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Can goods and non-perishable food items will be collected.
New Jersey State Police is conducting a food drive to benefit individuals and their families who are living in shelters and have been affected by domestic violence. Domestic Violence Awareness Month is an annual campaign that is focused on raising public awareness about domestic violence in an effort to eradicate such violence from our communities.
Donations will be collected Oct. 1 through Oct. 31 and will be distributed to local domestic violence shelters during the month of Nov. to assist with their Thanksgiving efforts.
