Community Leaders Recognized by Workforce Development Board

PLEASANTVILLE The Atlantic Cape May Workforce Development Board (WDB) awarded Peggy Quinn, owner of Que Consulting, Secretary of the Board and Chair of the Membership Committee with the “2015 Chair of the Year” Award at its annual holiday meeting held Dec. 10, 2015 at Harbor Pines Golf Course in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey. 
“Ms. Quinn has demonstrated leadership and innovativeness in the support of the WDB vision and has been a source of knowledge during her tenure,” states Rhonda Lowery, Executive Director of the WDB. “Peggy’s hard work and diligence is acknowledged and well appreciated by her colleagues and peers through the implementation of creative and unique ideas to maximize the potential of clients in the workforce.”
Also receiving awards were Dr. Michael Lazarchick, National Employment Counseling Association, and Richard Lovering, AtlantiCare, for their work as committee members with the Disabilities Workforce Committee and Membership Committee, respectively.
“Both of these award recipients consistently attend meetings and provide professional insight that supports the vision of a particular committee,” states Lowery. “Both Dr. Lazarchick and Mr. Lovering actively engage in activities that result in WDB’s ability to bring forth creative and unique ideas for expanding the scope of services, developing new programs and the progressive steps to do so in an effort to advance the workforce development system in Atlantic and Cape May counties.”
