Recently voted “Best sunset at the Shore” by Philadelphia Magazine, the Avalon Yacht Club is one of the most sought after premises for events. They host weddings during the spring and fall seasons, but unfortunately not in the summer between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
Whether you desire a large extravagant wedding or a small intimate one, AYC is the ideal place. Unlike other large banquet halls, when you have your wedding at Avalon Yacht Club, you have the entire building reserved for you and your guests, providing a close, intimate atmosphere.
AYC’s onsite event manager, Terry Thompson, will coordinate all planning and details for your wedding. She has been the General Manager for the Avalon Yacht Club for the past 13 years.
Your wedding ceremony will take place on their north deck, weather permitting. Otherwise your ceremony will be held on their spectacular indoor balcony.
Thompson will assist you with your floral arrangements, entertainment, wedding cake, favors and every intricate detail to make your wedding day perfect. She will also help you coordinate your day around the exact time of sunset, to ensure beautiful wedding pictures for a life time of memories.
