OCEAN CITY — More than 2,000 students of all grade levels in the Ocean City School District gathered Fri. morning, Sept. 23, 2016, to celebrate a ribbon-cutting at Carey Stadium’s new artificial turf field. Work to install the new surface with an organic cork infill was completed in Aug., and the field is now home to a variety of Ocean City school and community sports teams, as well as an array of special events for the city.
