Captain James Harkins, at the Cape May Lewes Ferry, was presented with the “Military Veteran Leadership in Business Award” at the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting on October 19. He is a proud veteran of the Navy, and always embodies professionalism. After his Navy career, he started working at the Ferry as an AB and quickly worked his way up to Pilot, where he sailed all the way up to Captain. He always has the safety of passengers and crew on his mind. The Cape May Lewes Ferry team is incredibly grateful for Captain Jim’s service both in the Navy and at the Ferry.
