CREST HAVEN – Keely (Weinberger) DiTizio, a 2008 graduate in the Agriscience and Horticulture Career and Technical Education Program of Study, was honored as the New Jersey Council of County Vocational-Technical Schools 2019 Successful Graduate for Cape May County Technical School District.
According to a release, Principal Steven Vitiello stated, “After graduating from Cape Tech and Stockton University with honors, DiTizio began teaching in 2012 at the Salem County Vocational Technical High School. Early in her career, she was named the 2015 New Jersey FFA Advisor of the Year. In 2016, she was recognized as a National Association of Agricultural Educators (NAAE) Teacher Turn the Key award winner and received a scholarship for a national professional development program. Additionally, in 2017, she was named the Region 1 winner for the New Teacher of the Year award for the Association of Career and Technical Education (ACTE). She went on to compete as one of the five national finalists for the 2018 ACTE New Teacher of the Year award program.”
Superintendent Dr. Nancy Hudanich stated, “The Successful Graduate being honored exemplifies Tech’s mission of equipping and empowering students to achieve their career goals and productively contribute to the community. Mrs. DiTizio has continued her education, skill, and perseverance to climb the ladder of success. “
