COURT HOUSE – Cape May County Technical High School will host its annual orientation for new students and their parents Aug. 16, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. The program is held each year prior to the opening of school to give all new students an opportunity to see the school, meet teachers and prepare for the school year. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. for parents and students to register and the orientation program begins promptly at 6:30 p.m. in the Scrivani Gymnasium. The evening ends in the cafeteria with an ice cream social.
Parents/Guardians meet with the administrative and teaching staff. Student government leaders and representatives from school organizations conduct tours of the building for students and their parents/guardians, answer questions and provide information about sports, clubs and other activities.
