By Press Release

COURT HOUSE – The Cape May County Superior Court Complex conducted a Feed the Needy drive that resulted in “stuffing” of 50 reusable shopping bags with all the necessary canned goods and dry goods to make a Thanksgiving dinner.
According to a release, the bags were delivered by the Cape May County Sheriff’s Office to the Family Success Center, in Rio Grande, for distribution to families in need in the area.
Thanks were extended to the Court House Divisions (Family, Civil, Criminal, Finance, Operations), Facilities and Services, Sheriff’s Office and Surrogate Court for their participation in the project.
On Nov. 21, the Superior Court Complex also held its annual Thanksgiving luncheon attended by employees of the Courthouse.
Leftover food was delivered to the Branches Family Outreach Center, Rio Grande to provide warm and nutritious meals to local residents.
Surrogate Dean Marcolongo stated, “Please do not forget the needy among us in this holiday and winter season.”
