The Cape May County Library provides a Bookmobile for the public making the library accessible to both children and adults.
The “library on wheels” carries approximately 1,500 titles and materials can be returned to any Cape May County Library branch.
A regular Cape May County Library Card is all that is required to use the Bookmobile. You may get a library card on the Bookmobile if you do not already have one.
The Bookmobile provides mobile library services to the following areas: Tuesday, Cape May City, 9-9:45 a.m., USCG Training Center Day Care; Erma, 10-11 a.m., Seashore Children’s Learning Center, Seashore Church of the Nazarene; Goshen, 1:30-2:30 p.m., Old Goshen School House, Route 47.
Wednesday, Marmora, 9:30-10:30 a.m., Trinity Methodist Church Daycare Rt. 9; Dennisville, 11:15 a.m.–noon, Post Office, Hall Avenue and Petersburg Road (Route 610); Tuckahoe, 2-3 p.m., Sun Bank Parking Lot, Route 50.
Thursday, Court House, 9-10:30 a.m., Cape Christian Academy, 10 Oyster Road (through June only); Court House, 10:45-11:30 a.m., Cape Educational Compact High School (through June only); North Wildwood, 12-12:30 p.m., Central Avenue in front of the Rec. Center; Rio Grande, 2:30-3:15 p.m., Sonic parking lot.
Friday, Cape May Point, 10-12 p.m., near the Post office, Yale and Ocean avenues; Cape May Point, 12:15-1 p.m., Pavilion Avenue (May through September only); Cape May City, 1-3 p.m., Acme Parking Lot, Lafayette Street, Oct. 19 during Cape May Library’s renovations.
