Candlelight Vigil Will Highlight Event to Stop Domestic Violence

WOODBINE – A candlelight vigil will be held Oct. 23 at 5:30 p.m. to stop violence and domestic violence.
According to a release, the event will be held at the pavilion across from the Woodbine Municipal Building, 501 Washington Ave.
In the event of inclement weather, the event will be held at Horne’s Temple Lighthouse Deliverance Ministries (215 Washington Avenue, Woodbine).
Join C.A.R.A. and Horne’s Temple Lighthouse Deliverance Ministries, 215 Washington Ave., Woodbine, for a presentation on domestic violence awareness, education, and hope.
Survivors will share their stories of hope and perseverance in the face of adversity. All events will conclude with a candlelight vigil to remember loved ones lost to domestic violence.
The Coalition Against Rape and Abuse (C.A.R.A.) will also explain the services it provides and how the community can be part of the positive work being done at that agency.
