WOODBINE — Woodbine Wellness Center welcomed new staff members “who are eager to help work through your tissues and your issues,” according to a release.
Susan Zimmerman, is a member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage professionals and a graduate of the Atlantic County Healing Art Institute. She is certified in Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue, Reflexology and Hot Stone Massage. Zimmerman believes massage therapy is not only a wonderful self-indulgence, but also a powerful ally in your healthcare regimen that reduces anxiety, fights fatigue and enhances immunity.
Carolyn Kasper has a B.S. in Social Work from Richard Stockton College of N.J. and an M.S.W in Social Work from Rutgers University.
She carries 25 years of experience with children, adolescents, and adults in both individual and group settings. She offers therapy for families, couples and the elderly along with their caregivers.
Kasper described her process as “problem-focused and solution oriented.” She assesses the problem and helps patients build on individual strengths and develop coping skills. She also has experience counseling through Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, anxiety and school related problems.
Lucy Rodriguez is a barber and has been a Woodbine local for 33 years. She is passionate about hairdressing and styling with over 20 years of experience to bring to the Profound Beauty hair salon located within the Woodbine Wellness Center.
Ardella Giddens had been a Woodbine resident for 15 years and holds eight years of hairdressing experience. She brings her enthusiasm for styling and specialization in curly hair types to Profound Beauty in the Woodbine Wellness Center.
