Shelley Jones

By Press Release

OCEAN CITY – For Brandon Zonge, a Customer Service Representative at the Ventnor branch of Ocean City Home Bank, volunteering as a firefighter with the Cardiff Volunteer Fire Company #1 in Egg Harbor Township brings tremendous satisfaction. It has also brought Brandon the recognition and benefits of the banks Volunteer of the Quarter Award for the fourth quarter of 2015.
Not only is Brandon willing to donate his free time to help his neighbors, but he is also prepared to put himself in harms way to ensure the safety of others, said Steven Brady, President and Chief Executive Officer of Ocean City Home Bank. He is truly deserving of this recognition.
As a volunteer firefighter, Brandon responds to and resolves emergency situations including fire alarms, motor vehicle accidents and fires, structure fires, gas leaks, and other crises. In addition, he participates in community activities, such as fire prevention events, as well as weekly department meetings and drills, extensive training, and special department details.
This is something I have grown up around all my life, and will continue to do for many years to come, said Brandon Zonge. The feeling I get from being able to help someone in a time of need is what makes this career amazing.
As Ocean City Home Banks Volunteer of the Quarter, Brandon will receive a cash prize, two extra hours of personal time, and a donation to the charity of his choice, the Cardiff Volunteer Fire Company #1.
