The Shores at Wesley Manor Achieves Highest Honors

OCEAN CITY – Holleran, a recognized leader for expertise in national research for not-for-profit aging services recently conducted resident and associate satisfaction surveys at The Shores at Wesley Manor, a senior community in Ocean City. With more than 19 years of experience in the senior living market, Holleran has compiled multiple, national databases of satisfaction ratings which are inclusive of 13 states and 112 senior communities.
The Shores at Wesley Manor has been recognized for their outstanding efforts in providing the highest levels of resident service within their Memory Support Residence. With a score exceeding the 90th percentile, The Shores at Wesley Manor achieved Highest Honors with added citations for their fulfillment of the Homes’ mission statement, resident confidence in their ability to respond to unusual or emergency situations, and diligence in notifying the family members/responsible parties about changes in residents’ health status.
Dr. Carol McKinley, executive director of The Shores, relates, “I am pleased that the families of our residents feel so confident in the care provided to their loved ones. The residents’ needs are the number one priority for us.”
Holleran awards a Highest Honors certificate to organizations who demonstrate strong performance in more than one area/factor. Certain criteria must be met to receive this award. This includes the factor must be at least in the 90th percentile when compared to the Holleran National Benchmark; it must be significantly above the Holleran National Benchmark; and finally, fulfill a minimum survey response rate of 70%.
The Homes has a mission to provide quality and caring services to senior men and women in a Christian community; the current roster includes almost 1,400 seniors of all faith backgrounds.
