On Oct. 13, the Chamber of Commerce of Greater Cape May held its annual installation dinner. New executive board members are Dr. Ronald Goldstein, Tracie Cicchitti, Veronica Morey, Michael Clark, Mary Stewart and Carolinn Pocher-Woody. New board of directors are Andy Barber, Charity Clark, John Matusiak, Lena Miller, Katlyn Mogavero, Randall Segal, Jennifer Pagano and Courtney Poole.
That evening, yearly awards were given to Ralph Farrell of Snug Harbor Marina, Community Volunteer; Lance and Bonnie Pontin of John Wesley Inn, The Good Neighbor; Cape May Historic Accommodations, The Eco-Green Cape May; Ryan Krill of Cape May Brewing Company, Business Growth; Jack Wright of Exit Zero Company, Business Investment; Mary Stewart, Member Volunteer; and the Chamber’s Tourism Partners, Grand Hotel, Island Grill, the Chalfonte and Peter Shields Inn & Restaurant.
The City of Cape May was awarded Community Partner of the Year. The city accomplished the makeover of the Welcome Center, movies on the beach with indoor shows when weather prohibited outdoor showings, and assistance via Cape May Police, Fire and Public Works when holding events.
The Chamber of Commerce of Greater Cape May, formed in 1951, has endeavored to be the voice of the business community, and is dedicated to promoting and enhancing the quality of life and the interests of both its members and residents of the great city of Cape May.
