CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE — Cape Regional Health System is pleased to announce that the Center for Wound Healing is a recipient of Restorix Health’s Clinical Distinction Award. This award recognizes centers that have demonstrated exceptional success by meeting or exceeding clinical and safety benchmarks over a three-month period.
“This accreditation reaffirms the quality of care that the Wound Center provides its patients every day,” said Richard Artymowicz, Pharm.D., Administrative Director. “We are proud to be a recipient of an award that recognizes the hard work and dedication of our team.”
Restorix Health launched its Center of Excellence Award program to recognize those centers that have met or achieved wound care and hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) therapy benchmarks in the areas of healing rate, time to heal, patient satisfaction, safety and overall center performance.
The Center for Wound Healing is dedicated to optimizing outcomes and preventing lower limb loss in those patients with chronic, non-healing wounds. The approach to wound care is aggressive and comprehensive, coordinating traditional and advanced therapies and techniques that are proven to reduce healing time and improve healing rates.
The center is staffed with a multi-disciplinary team of physicians along with nurses and technicians with advanced training in wound care and hyperbaric medicine. Integrating a team of wound care professionals optimizes patient care, while offering the most advanced healing options.
